It may seem surprising, but there were not many places to relieve yourself, should the need arise. None of the "boutique" type shops had public restrooms - the anchors did and there were some some facilities at the food court. If you weren't careful, you could wind up in a bind, as it were....

The Urinals of the Mall of Memphis

A fellow named eastbayray writes: "Not as grand as the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota, but nonetheless, I'm sure Memphis is quite proud."

He's right - they were not very impressive. And with most stores having no public restrooms, these minimal facilities just off the Food Court hardly seem adequte for the massive traffic the mall once hosted.
