Early Maxwell

I've seen the name "Early Maxwell" for years in Memphis. Thought it was an odd name but never gave it much thought. It was a street in or around the fairgrounds area. Even Libertyland was on Early Maxwell Blvd.

Turns out, he was a promoter - and made enough friends apparently that he got his own street. Similar to the James C Bridger Way road around the Mall of Memphis. Except Bridger apparently had money instead of friends. jamesBridger
