Pat Kerr Tigrett

Pat Kerr Tigrett is a Memphis based wedding dress designer, party planner, fund-raiser, former beauty pageant winner and all around socialite. She is the widow of the late John Tigrett, famed Memphis toy inventor and entrepreneur whom Al Gore compared to Willy Wonka in his 1999 eulogy of the 85-year-old business giant. She’s also the stepmother of House of Blues/Hard Rock Café founder Isaac Tigrett.

Among the many projects she has worked on, she was one of the drivers behind the efforts to get the distinctive "M" shape of the Hernando-Desoto bridge lighted which created a distinctive night entrance to the city.

John Tigrett is widely considered the "father" of the Pyramid because of his efforts to get local government behind the idea.
