Cordova Ammunition Plant

Some recent pics:

	The railroad served the plant likely both to provide raw materials and carry away finished products. The tracks have long since been abandoned, but the line to the left heads to Nashville and the line straight ahead would be adjacent to the plant so that loading and unloading could occur without blocking the main line.
	Among the new building of the Industrial Park you will see the ocassional building that looks much older than the surrounding ones. In most cases these buildings are original plant buildings that have survived all this time.
	Of course a military installation supporting the war effort in World War II was a secure installation. This is obviously a guard shack at what was the gate to the base.
